Green Circle Trails from Skyeship Gondola Mid Station

Green circle level trails accessible from the Northbrook Quad chair lift are:

Northbrook Quad SNOWSHED SLOPE

Exit Northbrook Quad straight ahead down the long ramp and cross the wide flattish area to your right. The onramp to Snowshed Slope is to the right just before you get to the Highlander lip. Snowshed Slope is divided into two parallel trails separated by a row of caged snowmaking guns. The trail on the right has large humps which provide terrain variation and steeper pitches than the trail on the left which is more consistently pitched.

HIGHLANDER

This trail is a connector trail that provides a path from the top of Snowshed Slope to the K-1 Base Lodge area. Exit the Northbrook Quad and go straight ahead. Cross the wide flatish area to your right. Highlander is over the lip and the second left.

YODELER

This trail has less pitch than Snowshed Slope but doesn't run all the way back to Snowshed Base Lodge. Rather, it intersects with the last pitch of Snowshed Slope. Exit the Northbrook Quad and go straight ahead. Cross the wide flatish area to your right. Highlander is over the lip. To access Yodeler, go straight ahead instead of following Highlander to the left.

NORTHBROOK TRAIL

If you want to back to the Skyeship Gondola Mid Station, go down Snowshed Slope and immediately cross to the far right side to pick up the Northbrook trail that leads back to the Skyeship mid station.

Green circle level trails accessible from the Needle's Eye Quad chair lift are:

GREAT EASTERN

Green Trails from Needle's Eye There's really only one green circle level trail option from the the top of the Needle's Eye Quad, Great Eastern. It is a long trail if you take it to it's terminus at the Skyeship Base Lodge. Unload to your left and you are on Great Eastern. After descending a short hill, you will turn to the left, go up and down and to the right before you arrive at the vista deck hut on your left.

From the vista deck hut, the lower section of the trail is less intimidating as it winds its way through the woods to eventually emerge at the Skyeship Base Lodge. There are a couple of flat sections that snowboarders may not be able to traverse without having sufficient speed going in. Otherwise, the lower section is more relaxing and a lot of fun.

If you want to go to Bear Mountain Lodge from the lower section of Great Eastern, take the green circle trail Bearly. If you want to go to either the K-1 Lodge, Snowshed Lodge or Ramshead Lodge, take the green circle trail Northbrook Crossover back to the Skyeship Gondola mid station, and take the Northbrook Quad chair lift to the top of Snowshead slope. To get to the K-1 Base Lodge, go straight and then bear right and take Highlander to the Superstar Quad chair lift and on to the K-1 Base Lodge. For Snowshed or Ramshead Lodge, go down Snowshed to get to the Snowshed Lodge. Go through the tunnel under the access road to get to Ramshead Lodge.
